Almighty is the only truth in this entire creation and objective of human life is to realize the same
Slok Mahla 1 (Guru Nanak Dev Ji):
Humans, trees, places (of pilgrimage), riverbanks, clouds (&) fields.
Islands, continents, worlds (&) universes.
Sources of production through egg, womb, growing out of earth and born out of sweat.
(Only) He knows (their) count, (says) Nanak, (so also of) lakes, mountains (& all other) beings.
Nanak (says) having created (the living) creatures, (Almighty takes) care (of them) all.
(The) Creator who (has) created (the) creation, (is one) who (has to) worry (for its) care too.
The Creator needs (to) worry who (has) created (the) world.
(I) bow (unto) Him (and hold) Him (in) reverence (&) whose court (is) eternal.
Nanak (says) other (than support of) His Name what (is the point in bearing sacrificial) mark (on the forehead and) what (is the benefit of sacred) thread. || 1 ||

Millions (of) penances (at sacred) shrines (and practice of) sehaj yoga (in the) wilderness.
Millions (of) courageous (actions in) battle (and) losing life in (the) battlefield.
Millions (of) understandings (and) millions (of) wisdoms, meditations (as well as) readings (of) Vedas (&) Puranas.
(The) Creator who (has) created (the) creation and has ordained one's the coming and going here.
Nanak (says all such) thoughts (are) false, (earning Almighty's) grace (is the) true insignia (of purposeful and righteous life). || 2 ||

Pauri (Guru Nanak Dev Ji):
You (are the only) one (are the) Truest Master,
Who (has) spread (the) real truth (everywhere).
Whom you bless he realizes the truth,
Then he earns the True path.
Meeting the True Guru, truth is realized,
By those in whose inner self truth is settled.
Foolish know not the truth,
Pursuing mental desires waste the life .
What has been achieved in this worldly life. || 8 ||
You (are the only) one (are the) Truest Master,
